Four roles, one standard

Every recommendation BCR makes is backed by a number, and someone has to own those numbers. You would build and maintain the corridor datasets behind our market reports, yield models and client investment briefs.

What you will do

  • Build and maintain pricing, rental and service-charge datasets across five Lagos corridors
  • Model gross and net yields, and stress-test them against void and cost assumptions
  • Turn raw listing and transaction data into the tables that go into published reports
  • Flag anomalies and data-quality problems before they reach a client brief
  • Automate the repetitive parts of our quarterly reporting cycle

What we need from you

  • 2 to 3 years in a data analysis role, ideally with property, finance or market research exposure
  • Advanced Excel or Google Sheets, and comfort with SQL or Python for anything repetitive
  • Ability to explain what a number means, not just produce it
  • Rigour about sourcing: you say where a figure came from and how confident you are in it
  • A portfolio or sample of analysis you have actually produced

BCR publishes research, not marketing. Corridor reports, buyer guides and market outlooks that people cite. You would own that output end to end, from the research behind it to the final sentence.

What you will do

  • Research and write corridor reports, buyer guides and quarterly market outlooks
  • Translate analyst data into writing a busy, intelligent buyer will actually finish
  • Source and verify every claim, with the methodology stated openly
  • Write the newsletter, listing narratives and investment brief copy
  • Hold the house voice: clear, direct, commercially grounded, never hype

What we need from you

  • 2 to 3 years writing professionally, with real estate research experience specifically
  • A portfolio is mandatory. Send published work, not a CV that describes it
  • Able to read a yield table and write about it accurately
  • Comfortable saying a market is overpriced when the data says so
  • Strong instinct for structure: you can make a complex argument easy to follow

The commercial brain between our data and our clients. You would build the investment cases that sit behind every acquisition we advise on, and sharpen how the business itself runs.

What you will do

  • Build investment cases and financial models for client acquisitions
  • Run feasibility and return analysis on developments and off-plan opportunities
  • Translate market data into a recommendation with a stated downside
  • Map and improve internal processes across deal flow and client reporting
  • Support developer sales mandates with pricing and absorption analysis

What we need from you

  • 2 to 3 years as a business or investment analyst, with real estate investment experience
  • Confident financial modelling: IRR, payback, sensitivity analysis
  • Understands the Lagos market, or can demonstrate they will learn it fast
  • Able to present to a high net worth client without hiding behind jargon
  • Judgement to recommend against a deal when the numbers do not hold

You are often the first person a client meets and the last one they see. Punctual, presentable and discreet, moving the team and our clients safely across Lagos.

What you will do

  • Drive the team and clients to property viewings across Lagos
  • Plan routes around Lagos traffic so viewings start on time
  • Keep the vehicle clean, serviced and road-ready at all times
  • Handle client pickups with discretion and professionalism
  • Support occasional document runs and errands

What we need from you

  • A valid Nigerian driver’s licence, current and clean
  • A spy police certificate is a strong advantage.
  • Thorough knowledge of Lagos roads, especially the Island corridors
  • Punctual and presentable. Clients judge us from the moment the door opens
  • Discretion: you will hear confidential conversations and keep them confidential
